SO WITH A ROLL CALL, WE'D LIKE TO GO AHEAD AND OBSERVE THAT WE HAVE ALL THE COMMISSIONERS HERE TONIGHT.
AND THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS IS THE APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES.
ALRIGHT, SO MOTION BY COMMISSIONER TRAVIS.

ALL IN FAVOR OF APPROVING THE MINUTES.
ALRIGHT, WE'LL MOVE ON TO THE COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS.
PUBLIC COMMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE DESIGNATED TIME, UH, THE AGENDA, WHICH IS RIGHT NOW UPON BEING RECOGNIZED BY THE CHAIR.

IF YOU'LL LET YOU APPROACH THE PODIUM, INTRODUCE YOURSELVES AND TELL US ALL ABOUT IT.
I'M THE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS FOR JONATHAN'S GRILL.
I AM COLTON CARVER, I'M THE GENERAL MANAGER FOR THE BRENTWOOD LOCATION.
I'M THE REGIONAL MANAGER FOR THE BRENTWOOD LOCATION.
SO I KNOW YOU'RE APPLYING FOR A BEER PERMIT FOR THE NEW LOCATION, BUT NOT YOUR FIRST OR ONLY LOCATION.
SO, UH, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PROCESSES FOR MAKING SURE THAT YOU'VE GOT THE PROPER CONTROLS IN PLACE.
SO FIRST AND FOREMOST, FOR OUR TRAINING WITH ALL OF OUR NEW HIRES, WE MAKE THEM GO THROUGH AN EXTENSIVE TRAINING PROCESS OF 10 TO 15 SHIFTS WHILE EXPLAINING, UM,
WE MAKE THEM GO THROUGH A PROCESS OF 10 TO 15 SHIFTS TO, UH, EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANCE OF NOT SERVING UNDERAGE TO ANY MINOR.
UM, WE ALSO HAVE POLICIES IN PLACE TO PREVENT ANY MINOR FROM GETTING ACCESS TO ALCOHOL, INCLUDING SECTIONS IN THE RESTAURANT WHERE THEY'RE NOT PERMITTED TO GO.
AS IN OUR COCKTAIL AREA WHERE IF YOU ARE UNDER 21 YOU ARE NO, UH, NOT ALLOWED TO SIT IN THAT AREA.
UM, ALSO WITH OUR TRAINEES, THEY ARE REQUIRED TO GET THEIR A, B, C LICENSE BEFORE THEY FINISH TRAINING.
UM, AND WE MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY CARDS, UH, EVERYBODY REGARDLESS OF AGE, UM, WHEN THEY ENTER ESTABLISHMENT AS ONE OF OUR POLICIES AS WELL.
ALRIGHT, DO WE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE BEER BOARD FOR HINS? SO, UH, ONE THING THAT WE TEND TO CHECK IN ON IS WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG? FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU HAVE SOMEBODY WHO, UH, FINDS A WAY TO GET THEMSELVES OVER OR SERVED OR IF YOU HAVE SOME OTHER SORT OF SITUATION AT THE, UH, AT THE ESTABLISHMENT.
UM, SO OBVIOUSLY WE DO, UH, GET A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE COMING FROM TITANS GAMES OR HAVE BEEN SITTING SOMEWHERE AND DRINKING AND WATCHING FOOTBALL ALL DAY AND COME IN WITH THEIR FAMILY.
UH, SO WE DO TRAIN ALL OF OUR SERVERS TO BE AWARE OF SIGNS OF INTOXICATION.
FIRST THING WE ALWAYS TRY TO DO IS TO GIVE SOMEBODY SOME FOOD.
UH, SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN THAT THEY'RE COHERENT ENOUGH TO AGREE TO PAY FOR IT.
SO WE TAKE THAT UPON OURSELVES TO MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE TAKING CARE OF THE GUEST.
UM, FIRST THING THAT WE'LL DO IS ASK 'EM IF THERE'S ANYBODY THAT WE CAN CALL FOR THEM.
UH, IF THEY ARE NOT EVEN ABLE TO GIVE US A NAME OR A PHONE NUMBER, THEN THE NEXT STEP IS WE WOULD PUT THEM IN AN UBER.
IF WE CANNOT GET THEM TO AGREE TO GET INTO AN UBER, THEN WE WOULD THEN HAVE TO CALL THE LAW.
WE VERY RARELY HAVE TO DO THAT.
UM, WE DON'T ASK OUR STAFF TO TAKE ANYBODY HOME, BUT WE HAVE A LOT OF STAFF THAT KNOWS A LOT OF OUR CUSTOMERS.
UH, WE LIKE TO CONSIDER OURSELVES KIND OF A CHEERS TYPE ATMOSPHERE, SO MM-HMM
WE'VE HAD BARTENDERS EVEN TAKE REGULARS HOME, UM, IF THEY NEED IT.
BUT WE DO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYBODY IS WELL VERSED ON THE SIGNS OF INTOXICATION.
AND I'M OLD ENOUGH TO GET THAT REFERENCE AND UH, I'D LIKE TO POINT OUT TO THAT CHIEF COLVIN IS IN THE BACK.
UH, CHIEF COLVIN AND HIS TEAM WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP OUT IF NEED BE.
