SECOND REED REQUESTS APPROVAL OF A REVISED SITE PLAN TO CONSTRUCT A NEW 2.5 MILLION GALLON ELEVATED WATER TANK. THE NEW TANK WILL HAVE AN ELEVATED CONCRETE PEDESTAL, UH, WITH A PAINTED STEEL WATER BOWL. THE STEEL BOWL WILL BE PAINTED THE COLOR IDENTIFIED AS FLINT HILLS, UM, FLINT HILLS. THE NEW TANK WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 80 FEET TALL. AND YOU MAY RECALL AT THE MAY, 2020 MEETING, THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVED A SIMILAR REQUEST. UH, AND THAT REQUEST HAS EXPIRED. SO THEY'RE COMING BACK FOR A NEW PROPOSAL AT THE SAME LOCATION. UM, THERE IS AN EXISTING TANK THERE TODAY AT THIS LOCATION. SO THERE'S, THEY'RE GONNA BUILD A NEW TANK SORT OF NEXT TO THE EXISTING ONE. HERE'S THE EXISTING, THERE'S THE EXISTING AND THERE'S PROPOSED. AND SO THIS IS THE SAME LOCATION THAT WAS PROPOSED BEFORE, A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT STYLE TANK. BUT, UM, THE NEW TANK WILL REPLACE THE EXISTING 3 MILLION GALLON TANK, WHICH WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE ONCE THE NEW TANK IS OPERATIONAL. UM, AND WITH THAT, STAFF IS REQUESTING THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION VOTE TO APPROVE THE REVISED SITE PLAN SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE STAFF REPORT.
